How to Clean Acrylic Awnings

Brush away loose dirt regularly to prevent buildup.
Rinse with a hose to remove surface contaminants.
Clean with a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water using a soft bristle brush.

Mix one cup of bleach and one quarter cup of mild soap per gallon of water.

How to Clean Vinyl Awnings
Vinyl awnings offer a more maintenance friendly surface due to their non-porous, waterproof coating. They resist mildew and staining, making them especially popular for commercial properties.

Rinse with water to remove dirt and debris.
Use mild soap and a soft brush for areas with buildup.
Rinse thoroughly.
Deep Cleaning
Use a 50/50 mixture of bleach and water.
Apply with a soft brush to affected areas.
Allow the solution to sit for 2–3 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly.
