Our story began in 1975 and we are proud to say that we are made in Savannah, Georgia. Today, we have grown to 40 dedicated people designing, sewing, welding, powder coating, and installing our products out of a 40,000 square foot production facility. Every job is custom and every customer is unique and special to us. We are inspired about the endless possibilities that our products create; whether it's about sun, storm, or insect protection, energy saving, or adding personality or branding to a restaurant or local storefront. We have received numerous awards but we don’t want to brag, it’s not our style. We think that our reputation and the company that we keep says it all.

Our Company

Coastal Canvas Products is a manufacturing facility that was founded in 1975 with both Georgia and South Carolina Business and Contractors Licenses. We manufacture and install custom products such as fabric awnings, metal canopies, shade sails, fabric tension structures, walkway covers, motorized screens, cabanas, decorative metal railing, tarpaulins, porch curtains and similar fabric and aluminum products.

We also sell and install various products for solar protection, hurricane protection, and insect screens. We realize it takes more than a long history to be successful; we must keep pace with the changing market, maintain the highest standard of quality, and supply the finest customer service possible.

Coastal Canvas Products is a long time member of the Professional Awning Manufacturers Association (PAMA) which sets strict industry standards for all Awning & Canopy products manufactured in North America. Being a member of PAMA, Coastal Canvas Products is updated on the latest new materials and processes in our industry so that we can continue to build long lasting shade solution products that you will enjoy for years to come.

Coastal Canvas Products is rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau. We adhere to a code of business practices that represent sound advertising, selling and customer service practices that enhance customer trust and confidence. Coastal Canvas Products is certified and licensed as General Contractors in two states –Georgia and South Carolina. Georgia License # RBQA004243 South Carolina License # G117777. Professionals, such as Coastal Canvas Products, who are accredited with these licenses are approved by the Contractors Licensing Board to ensure that standards are created to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the community.

Our design team has both the education & real life experience to take your concept to reality. Within our team of interior designers, architects, graphic designers, contractors, and installation experts we can help you find the best solutions that our products offer.

We set the bar a bit higher with our professionally detailed shop drawings of your project for approval & permitting. The experienced architects and engineers in our CADD department use the industries' leading software; AutoCAD 2014, Rhino 3D modeling, Awning Composer, and MPanel because we know that not everyone can make a purchasing decision from a bar napkin sketch.


  • GRAPHICS | We know how important your brand is, and how much work you’ve put into building it, our extensively trained design and sales team can help you find the best way to express your brand through awnings and graphic signage. Utilizing sign industry software, Sunbrella Graphic System™ and state of the art equipment we take your brand to the people.


  • FABRIC SHOP | The fabric shop professionals have an average of 20 years sewing experience, and are trained to utilize our state-of-the-art radio frequency and heat sealing machinery – which enables us to produce the very highest quality and longest lasting fabric welds. The best technology + human experience really makes our products better.


  • METAL FABRICATION | Where others cut corners, Coastal Canvas Products always usesstructural tubing and pipe in our awning frames, We solid weld every frame using MIG welding for beautiful welds and engineered performance, We use only radius cornered square tubing and square pipe which provides a smoother transition for the fabric, increasing the life span, and elevating the overall look. The frame shop is staffed with Certified Welders and the most modern equipment available. With years of experience and expansive capabilities we really do make our products differently.


  • EXPERT INSTALLATION | We use only CCP employees to install and maintain our products, and they are trained on the latest in construction and safety procedures. Ensuring best practices, proper manufacturing methods, quality control, OSHA safety standards, and customer scheduling to assure every plan comes together seamlessly. Our Installation teams are the last impression delivered by projects, and we are dedicated to giving every customer the same high caliber experience.
