Our story began in 1975, right here in Savannah, Georgia, with a simple belief: outdoor shade should be built to last, not mass-produced. What started as a small operation has grown, one custom project at a time, into the Lowcountry's largest and most complete outdoor architectural facility.
Every awning, canopy, and shade sail we've built along the way has been designed and fabricated in-house, because we've never believed in pulling a product off a shelf. That commitment to craftsmanship carried us through five decades of coastal heat, hurricanes, and everything in between, and it's what still drives us today.
We're inspired by the endless possibilities our products create, whether that's protecting a family's patio from the sun, helping a restaurant weather a storm, or giving a local storefront a little more personality. We've earned plenty of recognition along the way, but bragging has never been our style. We'd rather let our reputation, and the company we keep, do the talking.

Coastal Canvas Products was founded in 1975 in Savannah, Georgia, with one goal: build outdoor shade structures that could stand up to the coast and still look beautiful doing it. Over fifty years later, that mission hasn't changed.
Today, more than 40 designers, engineers, welders, seamstresses, and installers work out of our 44,000 square foot fabrication studio; the Lowcountry's largest and most complete outdoor architectural facility. Every piece is custom designed and fabricated in-house, never pulled off a shelf.
We're a licensed general contractor in both Georgia and South Carolina, a longtime member of the Professional Awning Manufacturers Association (PAMA), and rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau. Proof that our reputation, and the company we keep, backs up the work.
